While Steve worked, Beau and I went to WalMart yesterday morning to get the plants to put in the garden today. With Beau's help at the store (at one point he was eating a flower bud off a plant we passed, we lost his juice cup underneath one of the shelves and then Beau broke his cup in the soil isle due to throwing it on the ground), I managed to buy 54 tomato plants to put in our 8'x12' garden. I know what you are thinking AND you are right!! There is not nearly enough room to plant that many tomato plants in our garden!
To finish off the beautiful day, Beau helped daddy mow the lawn.
Steve thought we were running Red Gold out of our house this summer when he saw my plant selection. He nicely explained to me that the 6 pack of starters i bought indeed started 6 tomato plants each. OOPS! So, needless to say, we returned a lot of plants to the store today once we got the garden planted.
On the way to the store i asked Steve if he would have made the same mistake and his response was, "Would it make you feel better if i said Yes?" I guess that answered my question. I'll blame it on Beau's distractions!

I can completely understand the distractions kids cause in stores! Good to know that you guys will be providing lots of salsa this year with all your 'matos.
