Garden Update/Playtime

Our garden this summer has been off to a great start. As you can see all of the plants are growing quickly. We planted 19 tomato plants, 6 jalapenos, 6 green bell peppers, 6 sweet banana peppers, 2 cucumbers, a squash plant, canteloupe, green beans, kohlrabi, yellow bell pepper plant and a row of lettuce. Family and friends be prepared for lots of fresh salsa and veggies!

Steve doesn't get to listen to his Ipod while mowing the lawn anymore. Instead, he mows with a helper on his lap. I've noticed the mowing takes a little longer now with Beau because he likes daddy to stop so he can play with the windchimes when they go under the trees.

Those of you who know Beau's eating habits will understand when i say i couldn't peel this orange fast enough for his liking. So, Beau showed me how he wanted to eat his first orange and that was by taking a big bite of the peel. (the first picture) He didn't like that part but you can see from the third picture that he is now a fan or oranges!

Beau wanted to end his yard work session playing in his clubhouse. However, just playing in the clubhouse would not suffice. Beau relocated all the rain water on the sandbox lid to his body and face. If you look close, you'll see how dirty he really is. Needless to say, Beau had a bath after this!
